Well I learned most of my astronomy from reading books. I have no specific book to tell you, I just read any good astronomy book I could find.
I also watched a lot of documentaries about space. A show on History channel called "The Universe" gave me a decent amount of knowledge in astronomy. Another show called "Into the universe with Stephen Hawking" premieres April 25th at 9. You should watch it.
But I mostly got my knowledge from online. I read articles about astronomy online and saw interviews of famous astronomers. I also learned a lot from Yahoo answers. I asked questions and read other peoples answer and learned a lot of new things.
So just read books, watch shows, ask question. Also, if your in high school, take a lot of astronomy and physics classes.
There are many things to learn, there’s also a lot of math, so you’ll need to work hard.
